Dynamic Leadership Qualities to Reach For in Life

I have been thinking about my favorite topic, leadership, and how I envision leaders moving forward to change the world in the years ahead. Leaders are positioning themselves to be called upon in the future to bring diverse groups of people together to form bonds and friendships, which will cause people groups to resolve vital issues around the world. Working together for a common purpose is key to getting things done and creating real change.

I see reconciliation as the powerful leadership skill of the future. Reconciliation is extremely difficult. It takes fortitude, patience, conviction, and humility plus a good dose of wisdom to bring about reconciliation. It also takes deep listening. I am always amazed at what I actually hear when I listen with my heart, versus my mind. Compromise is key, and it is compromise that helps people move closer to reconciliation.

I also see a future of nurturing strong and positive relationships, which are always talked about as the one absolute that makes a person healthy and resilient. Relationships are key to developing one’s full potential. These relationships strongly impact physical health, as well as spiritual and emotional health. It is time to leave those who do not lift and embolden you. It’s not that they cannot be friendly acquaintances. It’s that you must have a group of aspirational friends surrounding you so you will soar.
